Ecocity – Urban Development towards Appropriate Structures for Sustainable Transport

Project goal

Goal of the project is the development of model-to-follow urban areas towards sustainable urban development; Key focus: development of an environmentally compatible transportation system.

SFA_Br_CH Umsetzung - Discussion paper for OECD

Project goal

The goal is to create a discussion paper on the topic "Brominated Flame Retardants" for the 34th Joint Meeting of the Chemicals Committee and Working Group Risk Management and Sustainable Chemistry of the OECD.

FCKW - Multiplikator – Public relations for CFC disposal issues

Project goal

The goal is to raise the level of awareness by informing selected multiplicators regarding the disposal of CFC residual waste.

AKIN-P2 – Updating the input / output analysis in the Preyer'sche Kinderspital Children Hospital for the year 2001

Project goal

The goal is to update the database of the Preyer`sche Kinderspital Children Hospital with relevant dates of the year 2001.

ABASG II - Nutrition - "Nitrogen metabolism in Austria"

Project goal

The project goal is to estimate if the nitrogen resources available in goods or waste are optimally utilised. By means of a nitrogen balance of Austria,  the resource potential of solid waste and other not utilised goods is assessed.

NAVERKÄR – Criteria for sustainable construction

Project goal

The goal is to to create a catalog of criteria with internationally accepted guidelines on "sustainable buildingfor the reconstruction of the administrative building of the Government of Carinthia.

ABASG II - Goods – „Goods Metabolism of Austria“.

Project goal

This project aims at identifying the materials of key relevance as to their mass presence in the national economics of Austria (except for air and water). For this purpose, their mass flows and stocks within production, supply and consumption are determined. Also, waste amounts generated within resource extraction, production and consumption are roughly estimated.

ÖWAV – SFA AWS – Applying material flow analysis in the waste management sector

Project goal

The goal is to create a sheet of rules which regulates applications of the method of the material flow analysis for waste management issues.

AWAST - Software tool for waste management decisions

Project goal
 
The goal is to create a comprehensive and applicable software tool to provide cities a basis for decisions of sustainable waste management concepts.

AKIN-P – Input-/Output-analysis for Preyer´sche Kinderspital

Project goal

The goal is to create an updated and extended database for  Preyer´sche Kinderspital and to improve the database for the daily environmental management and the environmental statement of 2002.
