The project goal is the creation of a waste- and an energyconcept for Seehotel Werzer Wallerwirt GmbH to obtain the Austrian Eco-Label for tourism enterprises.
The goal isto develop a method that allows for the mass- and substance-related balancing of construction waste. The method serves the assessment of the construction waste of 10 multi-storeyed buildings in Austria, and also as a base for the assessment of the environmental compatibility and the resource potential of construction waste by means of selected material and substance balances.
The project goal is to offer the opportunity, to assess the need for consultation and the will on implementation of sustainable building concepts, by construction experts as well as by people who build their own homes.
We support the Wolfsberger Stadtwerke GmbH with the procession of the application for the subsidies on renewable energies offered by Kommunalkredit Public Consulting GmbH.
The goal is to build a bridge between applied research and the small and medium-sized enterprises. Latest research results are made available to the members of the pool and the exchange of ideas is enabled. Thereby the potential of specific knowledge exchange on the new topic „sustainable construction” is established.
We support the company Heraklith GmbH in obtaining the AUB Environmental Declaration (EPD) and the Austrian Eco Label for the magenesite-bound wood wool lightweight boards Heraklith based on current research (Life Cycle Assessment, declaration sheets of the Institute for Building Biology and Ecology IBO).
We optimize buildings (new buildings as well as renovation projects) regarding heating and building technology. In times of rising energy prices saving energy has become an increasingly important topic in the housing situation. Thus, the Energy Performance Certification, which provides information about all the relevant thermical properties of a building, is indispensable. This certification is the technical certificate of a building and the basis for all subsidies concerning new buildings and renovation projects. The Energy Performance Certification results from the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
The goal is to create a master plan in the fields of building ecology, sustainability and material efficiency. As part of this work, the criteria are listed, sorted by themes, in order to be used as a basis for discussion.
Goal of the project is the dissemination of know-how gathered within the projects implemented under the national programme „House of the Future“ among the actors of the Sustainable Construction Network in the Austrian province of Carinthia “NaBauPool”, as well as to transfer this knowledge also to other stakeholders in the construction industry in Austria that are interested in sustainable construction materials and technology.
