FCKW Rückbau – Sustainable CFC Management Austria

Project goal

Goal is to update the quantification of the CFC stocks, and, based on the EU Ozone Regulation, to draw an affordable, practice-oriented and sustainable CFC management concept for Austria. In addition, a concrete step-by-step base for the implementation is to be drafted, so to keep the CFC emissions from old buildings as low as possible.

Project goal

The goal of the project is to develop a sustainability profile of the Heraklith BM - Panel by means of an indicator and criteria list. The latter are applied to assess the insulation panel. A technical and scientific goal is also the definition of the indicator „Regional efficiency“, which has not been considered hitherto in standard eco-balances and which shall depict the environmental impacts and the product relevance in the regional context as background.

Project goal

The goal refers to the compilation of the information currently available on the future-oriented issue of sustainable construction. The Manual includes also the crucial criteria to serve as inspiration and incentive as well as to be followed by all actors in the field of civil engineering and commissioners.

Gender Bau – Gender-oriented Construction Considering the Sustainability Criteria

Project goal

The project aims at serving the interface for aspects of Gender Mainstream to meet those of sustainable architecture, social demands, ecological framework and economic expectations. The gaps are assessed that are manifested by the different views determined by gender prerequisites. A sensitisation of all actors involved is induced, so to successfully direct towards gender-oriented architecture and expression form.

Project goal

Goal of the project is the evaluation of the developed research results. For that purpose experts are invited to discuss the sustainable recovery and disposal of substances of an ozone depletion potential, still in use.

 

HdZ TransSÜD - Active Know-how Transfer Gained under the Austrian „House of the Future“

Project goal

Goal of the project is the dissemination of know-how gathered within the projects implemented under the national programme „House of the Future“ among the actors of the Sustainable Construction Network in the Austrian province of Carinthia “NaBauPool”, as well as to transfer this knowledge also to other stakeholders in the construction industry in Austria that are interested in sustainable construction materials and technology.

 

Nabaupool Kärnten - Regional Partner Pool towards the Implementation of “Sustainable Construction” in Carinthia

Project goal

The goal is to build a bridge between applied research and the small and medium-sized enterprises. Latest research results are made available to the members of the pool and the exchange of ideas is enabled. Thereby the potential of specific knowledge exchange on the new topic „sustainable construction” is established.
